Preliminary task front cover analysis - Sam.

My front cover of my magazine had a mixture of different colours to catch the eyes of people who would be buying the magazine. Also the title of the magazine is at the top. Which tell the reader what the magazine is about. The stories on the front page tell us what is going to happen in the magazine. Also the photo on the front cover shows the incline of the whole magazine. If I was to do it again I would use better colours and then make better information on the front of the magazine to tell the readers whats happening.

 The titles of all the schools in the 6th form, I have gone for this style of writing because its simplistic and doesn't clutter the page. I used the white foreground on the black background to make the cheap price stand out and I think it works well. I made the title to look simple but effective and I think it works. My photograph is the person who will appear in my cover story so I think showing his photo is effective.

 What I could do better next time is the addition of a cover story to fill the page a bit more as it looks a bit bare, I could of also used a bit more colour as I think it looks a bit boring and bare so colour and maybe a few quotes and cover stories would of helped it to look more vibrant.
